Bio
Joe Mabbott is an American record producer and studio audio engineer who has worked with countless independent and mainstream artists over the last twenty years. Joe has manned the boards for a vast range of musical acts, from the West Coast G-funk rap of Snoop Dogg to the traditional Irish folk of accordionist Paddy O’Brien, as well as hip-hop veterans Atmosphere, supergroup GAYNGS, French singer-songwriter Marianne Dissard, the genre-defying Doomtree collective, and industry newcomer Allan Kingdom.
In 2004 Joe founded The Hideaway Studio in Minneapolis, MN and quickly established it as a thriving home for local, national and international recording artists. Its creative environment and no-nonsense approach has yielded hundreds of critically-acclaimed records from hip-hop to punk rock to folk and all points in between.
